Bear Watching – Evening Tour from Basecamp Oulanka

Experience an authentic wilderness evening and the chance to see Finland’s largest predator in its natural habitat. We depart from Basecamp Oulanka with transportation to our partner Karhu-Kuusamo’s bear watching site, located near the eastern border in the Kuusamo wilderness.

Upon arrival, you will move into a comfortable and safe viewing hide, where bears can be observed in their natural environment. Several individual bears regularly visit the area, and you may also spot wolverines, eagles, and other wildlife. A knowledgeable guide will share insights about bear behavior and the surrounding nature throughout the evening.
